Go as a River Tour & EHS Retreat – August 15 – 26, 2018

Picture

Eight Monastics from the Plum Village Tradition, students of Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh will offer evenings, days and retreat of mindfulness in Minnesota and Wisconsin, August 15 – August 26, 2018.

The theme for this tour is Go as a River. The events are open to new and experienced mindfulness/meditation practitioners alike. During the events we will practice together as a community, going as a river, in order to touch life deeply in the present moment, through mindful breathing, sitting and walking. Monastic Teachers will offer talks with concrete practices which help us care for ourselves as well as engage in our lives and society. Practices also include mindfulness practice songs and movements.

When we come back to ourselves, we can nourish and heal. Only when we are present and relaxed can new insights emerge which increase our peace, joy and freedom.
